1 Corinthians 15: 3a Tradidi enim vobis in primis, quod et accepi; For I delivered unto you first of all, which I also received.

And taking him from the multitude apart, He put His fingers into his ears, and spitting, he touched his tongue; and looking up to heaven, He groaned and said to him: Ephpheta, that is, Be thou opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke right.

Dear Latin Mass Faithful and friends,

It seems to those in the household of faith that more and more, even in America, everyone has a right to speak up and express his views except men and women of faith. A false interpretation of “separation of Church and State” or the slogan, actually not found in any official documents of our country, “a wall of separation between Church and State” is thrown in our faces as the end of the discussion. Never before in our American history has our religious freedom to express and practice our faith been so much in jeopardy. What we believe is clearly seen for what it is: a message strongly in opposition to a secularized society. Many in our society don’t even want to hear the traditional gospel message. They want it not only silenced, but repressed by force of civil law. More and more pressure is being put on us to accept, pay for in taxes and promote what is contrary to the solemn doctrine of our Divine Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Modern man is tempted to be like the deaf mute in the Gospel, though morally and spiritually deaf and mute; when kneeling before the false gods of the world are more and more unable to listen, hear, and speak in a Godly way. Clearly, we need for Jesus to perform a miracle. And He performs such miracles even in our time. If you grasp even in a small way what I am writing here, you are part of the miracle. If not, pray for such a miracle in your life. It is not too late. There is still time.
